 2018     Activities times may be adjusted as we get closer to the date of the activities-we will post changes ASAP on the bulletin board or sign.

For all potlucks please bring a covered dish and your own table setting and drink.  Please be considerate of those coming after you and take small portions until everyone is served and then you can come back for seconds.  We don’t always charge for most activities (a few may have a charge if there are supplies that need to be purchased) so at the gatherings there will be a jug if you would like to make a donation for activities/Post Sunset July 7th Celebration, most of you know what this is.

Waterslide first Saturday of the month in June, July and August. Probably mid-afternoon weather permitting.

May 12 Saturday 11 am – Kids can make a craft gift for their mother in the store area.

May 13 Sunday 10 am– Mother’s Day potluck brunch big shelter.

May 26 Saturday -Amazing Scavenger Race Probably mid-afternoon.

May 27 Sunday - Pancake Breakfast 10am until gone or noon, whichever comes first.  We supply pancakes and sausage with coffee or juice.   You will be served two sausages and up to three pancakes until everyone has been served then you may have seconds if there is enough.  This is usually on Saturday because of church but the shelter is reserved so we will do it a little later so you can stop in after church and have a pancake lunch.

May 28 Monday Memorial Day- Golf cart rodeo don’t know the time yet.

June 16 Saturday 11am- Kids can make a craft gift for dad in the store area.

June 17 Sunday 10am- Father’s Day potluck brunch.

July 4 Wednesday Noon – 4th of July Picnic potluck large shelter.  We will supply hamburgers and hotdogs and campers bring covered dish. 

July 6 Friday probably mid-afternoon time frame T-shirt painting in office area.  Bring a white T-shirt the paint will be supplied.  You can decorate a T-Shirt appropriate to wear in the parade tomorrow.  Adults and kids; let’s see how many of us can dress alike for the parade! 

July 7 Saturday 11am –Golf cart/bicycle/walk parade.  Meet at office.

                             2pm- The Cardboard Regatta - you build a boat or raft out of mostly cardboard and duct-tape, following the rules, and race across the lake.  Each boat must have at least one adult and one child and no more than five in any crew.  No boards, wood, plastic, metal, glass, motors or drums, nothing that can pollute the lake.  No store bought boats or rafts.   The boat must be propelled by people power or wind and must have a sail.  Sail does not need to work but must be on boat remember no wood plastic, metal or anything sharp.  Everyone must stay on boat or you are disqualified.  Everyone must wear a flotation device, we encourage creativity, and children under 12 must wear life-vest. Prizes for fastest boat, most creative boat, funniest flotation device and craziest sail you can win in more than one category. 

July 7 post sunset July celebration!

August 12 through 19 will be Christmas in August.  Decorate your lot/cart/bicycle for Christmas prize for best decoration for lot/cart/bicycle.  We will have Secret Santa gift drawing, details later.  There will be cookie decorating in the office Saturday 11am and a parade with Santa Saturday afternoon.

September 1 –Labor Day weekend - Minute to win it games and some kind of party, not sure what yet.

October 13 - Closing Party potluck big shelter.  We will make the vegetable soup this year.  Trick or Treat when it starts getting dark.ph here.
